Two fibulas with big bilateral spring and the string wrapped on arc coming from the Dacian settlement from Ardeu, com Balsa, Hunedoara county

Abstract

1. Geographical position Ardeu village, a small locality, is placed in south-western prt of Transylvania, in Apuseni Mountains(Pl.I). 2. Few guid marks for a history of researches The antiquities found on Cetateaua and Judele, first attested at the end of 20th Century (1888) by Teglas Gabor10 produced an interest among researchers. We shall not insist on this topic because it has been broached by us in a recent paper11. 3. The pieces The first one (Pl. IV, 2), made by iron, has been discovered on the T III place (Pl. II). The second one (Pl. IV, 1), made by bronze, has been discovered on the T II (Pl. II) in 2001. 4. Typological point of view Both of them are belonging to the Rustoiu 10th type. The first to the ,,a” variant and the second to the ,,c” one, and the place where there was made is placed in Moldavia, on the Siret Valey. The cronological usage time is placed in the first century A.D. 5. Conclusions This two pieces indicates some economical relationships between two geographical areas.
