Two Point Fixation Of Zygomaticomaxillary Complex Fractures: Our Experience

Abstract
Assaults, road traffic accidents and falls are the most likely causes of the zygomaticomaxillary complex fractures. Displaced ZMC fractures can lead to facial flattening, reduced mouth opening, ocular disturbances, deranged occlusion and visual disturbances. The aim of our study was to restore the function and aesthetics of the patients using two point fixation at lateral eye brow and infra orbital region. We evaluated the patients in terms of aesthetics, restoration of function, post operative stability of the ZMC region using two point fixations.
