In this article examined the life and the creation of the great Kyrgyz prose writer U. Abdukaimov. Theme of war, the influence of L. Tolstoy on military prose of writers. Also his interpriter works. Problems of studying U. Abdukaimov are examined in Kurguz schools. There is an information about students of U. Abdukaimov.
