Abstract
This article is sanctified to the theme of battle cooperation of the Russian troops and patriotic forces of the European countries in a fight against an emperor Napoleon I in 1812-1815. The object of study is the Russian-German legion whose appearance is related to the names of many known historical figures of that epoch. In the article is examined in detail the political side of creation of legion, principles of its forming and battle way.
