Ukrainian Context in the Creative Works of the 19th-Century Landscape Painters

Abstract
The paper presents the Ukrainian context of the creative works of the 19th-century landscape painters. It was found that in the creations of talented artists Ukraine is presented as a unique ethnic and cultural phenomenon of the 19th century contrary to the image of assimilated imperial provinces.
