UKRAINIAN TRANSLATED MULTILINGUAL PHRASEOGRAPHY: HISTORY OF QUESTION

Abstract

The article is devoted research of question of fixing and systematization of phraseological material in the Ukrainian multilingual translation dictionary of the second half XX – beginning of the XXI century, most of which delivers comparable in terms of phraseology Slavic and Germanic languages. The author dwells on the specifics of the selection register, indicates the ordering principles idioms, structural features vocabulary articles, defines the basic structural and semantic features of analyzed dictionaries. The subject of the research is translated multilingual phraseological dictionaries. The purpose of this article is to establish the specific of conclusion multilingual phraseological dictionaries in Ukraine and defining their place in the Ukrainian translated phraseography. The main method of research is descriptive and comparable. Used linguistic methods of observation, generalization and classification idiomatic material. Scientific novelty of this article is that it is installed and described the principles of lexicography of Ukrainian phraseological units in the translated multilingual phraseological dictionary with considering of semantic and functional characteristics of the idioms, installed features of lexicography of the system of communications of idioms. The practical significance of the research in the possibility of using the substantive provisions, materials and results of research for teaching courses of phraseology, phraseography, lexicology, stylistics, in the phraseography practice, and in the further scientifically research work. It was established that most of idioms do not have identical accordances, particularly in the languages of different typological structure, that is why the questions of the applied value of dictionary and ability of compilers to represent the specific of the phraseology systems of languages which are compared it is important for the authors of modern translated phraseology dictionaries.
