Un Genovés en la corte de Fernando el Católico
Journal Title: Studia Europaea Gnesnensia - Year 2011, Vol 3, Issue
Abstract
Why did a certain Genoese seek help from the king of Aragon? Why did the king of Aragon help a certain Genoese? When considering the historical context, such as the war that the Crown of Aragon declared on the republic of Genoa over control of Corsica and Sardinia, then setting the obvious differences aside, the situation is similar to one in which the president of the United States receives and entertains a member of Al-Qaeda in the White House, to entrust him with the execution of a top secret NASA mission, with his financial backing on top.
