USE OF FOLK INSTRUMENTS IN MODERN UKRAINIAN MUSICAL CULTURE

Abstract
The article dedicated the question of the inclusion of folk instruments in modern musical practice. For Ukrainian space typical cooperation areas of academic and pop music. You can observe a tendency to include orchestra of folk instruments in their repertoire not only folklore samples as well as works by Ukrainian composers, but also cover versions of pop and rock hits. Use of folk instruments in rock and pop bands noted as a sign of cultural identify. It is pointed that this synthesis has significant potential for culture, which contributes to the emergence of original and unique artistic events.
