Use of ict in the development of primary general education academic skills of the educational unit monsignor juan wiesneth of the campus el rosario of the naranjito canton

Abstract
It is considered that the educational model of Ecuador is innovative, due to the constant updating of its strategies to provide education, this educational dynamic was increased and accelerated with a greater frequency of use of ICTs because of the Covid-19 in many educational centers, which allowed the continuity of the curricula. This is a study carried out at the First level of Basic General Education of the Educational Unit Monsignor Juan Wiesneth of the El Rosario Campus of the Naranjito Canton, Ecuador, which consists of an analysis of the influence of ICTs on the development of academic skills in students at the above level. It is a qualitative-quantitative type research with a sample consisting of 26 teachers from district 09D18 and 25 parents of students from the institution, includes in-depth interviews with three experts and the school’s authority, as well as the design and use of a questionnaire as a tool to gather information. The objective is the analysis of ICTs and the influence of parents of the Educational Unit Monsignor Juan Wiesneth of the El Rosario Campus of the Naranjito Canton. It was possible to conclude that the influence of the parent or legal representative is fundamental according to the observed results, but they are not determinant because it is a work in conjunction with the teachers and the rest of the educational community
