USE OF SOCIAL NETWORKS IN THE EDUCATIONAL PROCESS

Abstract
The theoretical aspects and practical use of social networks in the educational process of the document and information management department of the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas were researched. The major benefits of using of social networks in the educational process were named. The quantitative composition of groups and conversations was analyzed. The basic content category in groups and conversations was investigated. Key functions that perform social networks in the educational process of the department were allocated.
