Use of some mathematical regularities in processing radar information in the interest of prevention of emergency situations of terrorist character

Abstract

The possibility of using some mathematical regularities in the processing of radar information is considered in the work, in order to shorten the time of identification of dangerous targets in order to prevent emergencies of a terrorist nature. The analysis of radar information processing is given. It is shown that it consists of detection, measurement, resolution and recognition of each target for any finite volume of space for a limited period of time. The a priori knowledge of the characteristics of the radar targets expected on the approaches to the protected potentially dangerous object makes it possible to simplify and formalize this process. It is shown that the Radon integral transforms, ray and fan, differential and dual operators with the use of the mathematical apparatus of convolution and the Fourier transform form conjugate pairs. This allows us to create a mathematical model for identifying dangerous targets by simultaneously comparing current radar images with a set of images of radar targets and a set of images of radar interference.
