Use of the capabilities of the operational units during the investigation during the scrutiny of the illegal movement of firearms

Abstract
There is the investigation of the use of the capabilities of the operational units during the investigation during the scrutiny of the illegal movement of firearms. As a result of the analysis of the opinions of scientists regarding the meaning of the terms "capabilities of operational units", "operational capabilities" and "operational-search capabilities", the author came to the conclusion that they are identical. The "capabilities of operational units" should be understood to be the availability, ability and readiness of the use of special forms and methods of ORD, the implementation of ORZ or the use of the forces of the ORD and operational equipment. Opportunities that can be used during an investigation to scatter illegal moves of firearms include: the use of clandestine full-time and freelance workers; use of confidential cooperation; exchange of operational information with other bodies; use of operational search records; use of technical and other resource capabilities of operational units, etc.
