Use of Visualization in the Process of Formation of Foreign Language Competency of Students of High Schools

Abstract

The article deals with the training of students-philologists in modern Ukrainian universities in accordance with the program of studying the French language, describes various technologies of visualization, infographics, scribing, media visualization with the purpose of organizing the educational process, combining traditional and e-learning. Visualization is the basis of the modern information space, because without the corresponding visual images it is impossible to imagine the results of scientific research or technical development, a successful educational process, etc. Infographics is one of the innovative methods that are in line with the trends of the modern information environment and are widely used in areas related to the provision of information support for human activities. Scribing is an innovative technology, with which you can attract listeners’ attention, provide them with additional information and to highlight the main points of the report by drawing pictures, turning things into visual images. The effectiveness of the scribing is explained by the fact that the human brain is able to draw pictures, think patterns, and the language of the picture is a universal language. The foreign language training of undergraduate students-philologists involves the use of basic (classroom practical classes) and auxiliary forms of training (counseling, homework, optional classes, language classes, interactive forms of instruction) that involve the character of interpersonal interaction of participants in the educational process. The importance of introducing new approaches to the teaching of the French language, various modern means of teaching the French language, allowing to increase the efficiency of the educational process of training philologists specialists, is proved in the university academic programs and educational process of universities.
