USING GAME-BASED TECHNOLOGIES IN TEACHING ENGLISH

This article explores the application of game-based educational technologies in teaching English as a foreign language. The article outlines the benefits of game-based learning, including improved retention, reduced anxiety, and opportunities for collaboration. Practical strategies, such as vocabulary games, role-playing, and digital tools, are discussed alongside examples like charades and quizzes. While acknowledging challenges such as time constraints and resource limitations, the article provides solutions to ensure effective implementation. It concludes by affirming the potential of game-based technologies to make English learning more enjoyable and impactful.
