USING SPORT ORIENTEERING MEANS IN THE CORRECTION OF THE PSYCHOPHYSICAL STATE OF SCHOOLCHILDREN OF AVERAGE SCHOOL AGE

Abstract
The article theoretically justifies the use of means of orienteering for correcting the psychophysical state of schoolchildren of secondary school age. The theoretical and practical approaches to the definition of a psychophysical state are analyzed and systematized in the scientific and methodological literature. Characteristics of sport orienteering as a means of physical education are characterized. The peculiarities of using orienteering as a means of improving the psychophysical state of schoolchildren are analyzed. The conclusion is made that the means of orienteering have not only a healing effect, but also are aimed at developing both the physical and mental abilities of schoolchildren.
