USING THE MATLAB INTERACTIVE SOURCE FOR SOLVING OPTIMIZATION PROBLEMS

Abstract
A description of Matlab's core functions and the Optimization Toolbox toolkit for solving optimization problems is given. Methods of solving some typical linear and nonlinear optimization problems in Matlab are considered. In particular, the commands for the following sections are considered: linear programming problem, transportation problem, problems of nonlinear optimization.
