UTILIZATION OF PTERIDOPHYTES OF ACHANAKMAR-AMARKANTAK BIOSPHERE RESERVE, CENTRAL INDIA IN WOMEN’S HEALTH AND BEAUTY CARE PRACTICES

Abstract
This study describes and documents the information on traditional utilization of 17 species of pteridophytes belonging to 11 families and 13 genera (ferns and their allies) in the treatment of Women’s health and beauty care practices by the tribal people of Achanakmar-Amarkantak Biosphere Reserve, Central India. Latin names, vernacular names, family along with their uses of all the species are described.
