Abstract
Chlamydatus longirostris Reuter, 1905 was reported from Poland (Lis J. A. 1985) on the basis of a female specimen collected in 1982 in Świerklaniec on Larix kaempferi (Lindl.) Carrière, 1856. Recent verification of the identification correctness of this specimen has proved it represented Ch. pullus (Reuter, 1870). The second report of Ch. longirostris in Poland (Korcz 2003) was also a case of misidentification (Gorczyca 2007). Therefore, Ch. longirostris should be excluded from the list of Polish Heteroptera.
