Variety testing of lateripening sweet cherries for their suitability for freezing

Abstract
The study presents a scientifically substantiated assessment of the suitability of 6 zoned lateripening sweet cherry varieties (Melitopolska chorna, Mirazh, Orion, Prazdnichna, Siurpyz, Kosmichna) grown in the southern steppes of Ukraine for freezing and storing at low temperatures based on the following characteristics: juice loss amount, total sugars and total titrated acids.
