Various Reliability Measures of an Operating System under Two Environmental Conditions with Common -Cause Failure
Journal Title: International Journal of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematical Fundamentals (www.ijpcmf.com) - Year 2012, Vol 1, Issue 1
Abstract
In this paper we presented a model, consisting of two identical, active and independent units operating in changing environmental (normal & stormy) conditions. The repair facility is available when either one unit or whole system fails. After failure of one unit it is undertaken for repair, of cause, the other unit is in operative mode. If during the repair of the first unit, the second unit also fails then the system is assumed to go to down state.

Meijer Type Transformation and Related Results
In this paper we have proved differentiation and convolution theorem for Meijer type transformation. In past and recent years, many authors have studied Hankel and Hankel type transformations. The Meijer or K- transforma...
Moving Load Problem of Thermo-elasticity in Semi Infinite Space
This paper is about moving load problem in semi infinite space. We consider a homogeneous, isotropic elastic semiinfinite space, which is at temperature T0 initially and whose boundary surface is subjected to heat source...
Analysis of a System Operating in Different Environmental States
In the present problem we analyze a single unit system which operates in “n” operates in a different environmental/weather conditions. Here the system is consisting of one normal weather operative state, “n”abnormal wea...
Review the Use of Particular Rays in Weapon and Explosive Detection
The rays are very much useful in many fields of general life and also other fields. But gamma rays are used generally in detection purpose. The characteristics of these rays can be used for the purpose of detection of...
