Vectors of success of the modern social worker

Abstract
The article deals with the main theoretical segments of the general competence of the specialist, professional competence, social and legal competence of the social worker. Socio-legal competence is characterized, and its structural components are motivational, cognitive, activity, value, emotional, reflexive. The functions of practical work of a social worker are studied; the main tasks of a modern social worker are outlined. The attention is paid to the personal qualities of a specialist in the social sphere in the process of professional activity. It is emphasized that the professionalism of a modern social work specialist includes the ability to analyze the situation, correctly perceive it, take into account all existing alternatives and make the necessary choice; ability to establish contact with people. It is concluded that the vectors of the success of a modern social worker depend on his professional competence, when social and legal competence becomes a priority segment of
