Verbal explication of the concept BODY in the Christian Orthodox discourse

Abstract
The article deals with the concept BODY based on the material of Ukrainian version of prayers and theological studies of the Christian Orthodox Church. It has been stated that the main means of the concept’s organization are determined by the Orthodox collocations. The semantic field of the concept BODY is verbalized by the words which mean parts of human body, such as a head, a face, eyes, ears, a heart, hands etc. They are used with the direct and metaphoric meaning to make an accent on the basis ideas of the Christian Orthodox sacral discourse and they are of a programming character for our consciousness. They are marked with positive or negative connotations of God’s influence sphere or Devil’s influence sphere, sin sphere; they are distinctively black or white only.
