Journal Title: Мова - Year 2014, Vol 0, Issue 22

Abstract

The article offers a principle of completeness of semantic description of culturally informative vocabulary which is implemented with the use of lexicographical sources and textual implementations (on the example of lexical and semantic group of verbs rendering the sound aspect of speech). The given principle is actual for the description of the foreign students teaching in the framework of linguistic and cultural approach. The main source of the examined contexts is the novel by Mikhail Bulgakov «The Master and Margarita.» The most frequently are used the verbs and verbal nouns from derivational nests: «krichat’» (to cry) — 221, «sheptat’» (to whisper) — 97, «bormotat’» (to mumble) — 38 (words indicating the degree of loudness of speech), less often: «voskliknut’» (to exclaim) — 56, «orat’» (to scream) — 15, «khripet’» (to wheeze) — 15, «shipet’» (to hiss) — 3. It is necessary to use peculiar technique which allows to explicate the lingual and cultural potential of verbs: the method of manifestation of the basic semantic component of the thematic group (volume, tempo, and others), the imposition of semantic and text concrete definitions on default configuration of verbs of the thematic group, the technique of basis on extralinguistic situation of speech activity, the technique of various means correlation in sound aspect of speech.
