Verification of public procurement as an effective form of state financial control

Abstract
The article describes the characteristics of one of the forms of state financial control that is carried out by the State Audit Service of Ukraine, the effectiveness of this form of control over recent years has been investigated. Among the main forms of control, such as public financial audits, inspections, public procurement inspections and monitoring of public procurement, a special place belongs to the control of public procurement, which is currently an independent control measure and may also be included in the program of public financial audit and inspection. It is carried out after monitoring public procurement and is the next form of control.
