Vibration performance simulation of military automobile under road pulse input

Abstract

To evaluate vibration performance of military automobile under road pulse input, the road pulse inputs of front and rear wheels are built based on the Chinese standard with number of GB/T4970—2009. And a five DOF half automobile model is used to describe military automobile. The solution method for military automobile model is presented in matrix expressions and its solution steps are given. The expression of the road pulse inputs of front and rear wheels in time domain, and the matrix solution are validated by comparation between simulation and test.
