Abstract
Thepresentresearch shows specific data on writing problems and the presence of writing defects in common and scientific writing processes of students of some (I.E.S) Institutions of higher education of Ecuador. For the analysis of the information a simple non-probabilistic random sampling was applied to 336 teachers divided into 4 (I.E.S), after the comparative descriptive analysis for the presentation of conclusions and recommendations. The need to create reflective spaces on the difficult problem in writing university students requires a level of rigor for teachers, including the need to create achievements of research adequacy in the student, these characteristics are reflected by the completion of training research and Scientific in the curricular conjuncture that specializes the future professional and that consolidates as a researcher. Textual and writing poverty threatens the written and scientific production of our higher education institutions. For this reason, it is contributed to this research for academics with firm purposes of investigative positioning in higher education.
