Video surveillance as a tool to ensure transport safety

Abstract
It has been shown that traditional CCTV cameras today do not meet the requirements for operational response to possible unusual situations on large transport infrastructure objects. To solve modern problems, complex intelligent systems are needed, based on the complex algorithms of video analytics. The basic functions of intelligent video analytics systems are formulated. Prospects for the development of these systems in the future are outlined.
