Статтю присвячено дослідженню постмодерного сприйняття Ґабрієля Ґарсія Маркеса у повісті «Crónica de una muerte anunciada», яка є яскравим прикладом постмодерного наративного тексту. Авторська картина світу письменника характеризується фантастичністю, багатовіріативним тлумаченням, постійним балансуванням на межі уявного та реального світів, іронією, інте- ресом до магічного, невизначенного, зверненням до гри, театралізацією, текстоцентричністью, активною взаємодією різноманіт- них художніх систем.
