Abstract
The article is devoted to the research of the concept and directions of using of the expert opinion as a source of evidences in criminal proceedings. The concept of using of the expert opinion as a stage of criminal procedural proof is determined. Considering theoretical developments stand out the criminal law, criminal procedural, forensic and criminological aspects of using of the expert opinion, as well as disclosed their content.
