VIRUSES AND VIRAL DISEASES OF GRAPEVINE (VITIS SP.)

Abstract
The literature data on devastating viruses – the causative agent of grapevine has been reviewed. The taxonomy of viruses, their morphological properties, features of the genome and replication were elucidated. The symptoms of the viral diseases were described. Epidemiological questions, methods of plant protection and modern diagnostic assays were reviewed.
