Визначення необхідної потужності електричних теплоакумуляційних обігрівачів

Abstract

The article analyzes the methods proposed for selection of storage heaters. Generally, these methods determine the required power inputs for storage heaters depending on the period of cheap pick-off electricity tariff, space parameters (heat loss, purpose, thermal characteristics, etc.) and a chosen type of storage heater. Most of the analyzed methods determine the power input for only one type of storage heaters. The required power input is calculated by multiplying heat loss and a correlation factor. The typical power inputs of storage heaters are shown depending on their heat transfer type and a placement of heaters. In modern devices, unlike previous ones, additional heating elements are placed in a front panel to ensure greater reliability of devices and for maintaining accurate control of room temperature. Also, power inputs of modern storage heaters have decreased compared to previous ones. That can be explained by a corresponding reduction in the allowable values of heat loss in modern buildings. The analysis showed the discrepancy between calculation methodologies in terms of calculating power inputs for storage heaters.
