Abstract
The article analyses of the notion of «globalization», outlines internal and external factors of Indian type of globalization and its impact upon the system of professional training. on the basis of analysis of scientific pedagogical literature the author describes the peculiarities of professional training of border guards in the Republic of India under conditions of globalization processes and considering the specific features of guarding of Indian borders, namely: flexibility and diversification; enhancingof requirements; life-long training; distance learning; training of future experts to use new technologies; practical component of training; decentralization of activity of agency-specific educational establishments; formation of new skills; interdisciplinary links; international cooperation; growing responsibility of instructors for knowledge quality; formation of team working skills and cross-cultural communication; external assessment; gradual decrease of demarcation between civic and military knowledge.
