Wartość patriotyzmu – aktualna czy zapomniana? Postawy patriotyczne młodzieży gimnazjalnej w świetle badań

Abstract
The attitude of today’s junior high school youth towards the value of patriotism is very often indiff erent. The young have shallow attitude towards their homeland, they leave their country with no hesitation – if only they notice a chance to live better. A former attitude demonstrated in love of Poles to their country when they were ready to for it, today is perceived as distant, incomprehensible and unreal. The issue of the article was to present the patriotic attitudes of junior high school youth. The first part of the article shows theoretical bases of the research, where the following problems were discussed: understanding of patriotism, patriotic attitude, upbringing to patriotism. The second part consists of the research analysis over patriotic attitudes of junior high school youth. There are also fundamental conclusions which, in a very specific way, show the meaningful part of a family and school in building mature patriotic attitude.
