Water purification processes. Freeze-thaw technology

Abstract
The article shows that clean water stocks are increasingly reduced. However, the deficit can be diminished by desalination of seawater and polluted groundwater. The article deals with the modern methods of purification and desalination of water; its emphasis is made on an easy and affordable method of cryo-purification. It is shown that a simple freeze-thaw water treatment technology that can be easily implemented in everyday life, provides a twofold reduction in the concentration of impurities at each stage of the freezing-thaw cycle.
