Wave-wave regular interactions of a gasdynamic type
Journal Title: INCAS BULLETIN - Year 2011, Vol 3, Issue 4
Abstract
Two gas dynamic analytic approaches [of a Burnat type / Martin type] are respectively used in order to construct two analogous and significant pairs of classes of solutions [isentropic pair / anisentropic (of a particular type) pair]. Each mentioned pair puts together a class of “wave” elements and a class of “wave-wave regular interaction” elements. A classifying parallel is finally constructed between the two analogous pairs of classes -- making evidence of some consonances and, concurrently, of some nontrivial contrasts.

Achieving a More Electric Aircraft: a comparative study between the concurrent and traditional engineering models
The paper presents a model of concurrent engineering implemented in the life cycle of an electric motor as part of an electric aircraft with major advantages over traditional engineering. The paper also shows the 2D mode...
New light fighters from Asia on the global markets
The high cost of the latest fighters is having a major impact on world air forces, big or small. For many countries it is a difficult balancing act as it becomes hard to afford enough aircraft to maintain the required fo...
Losses and blade tip clearance for a centrifugal compressor
The present paper presents the numerical analysis for a transonic centrifugal compressor using steady state CFD. The blade tip clearance effect over the position of shock waves, tip losses and the performances of the imp...
Optimization of the flueric actuators testing system
A supplying system for air with precisely controlled temperature, pressure, flow and speed has been designed in order to test the flueric actuator. All these parameters are monitored and the acquired data are stored on a...
Constant-Power Engines in Flights to L[sub]4[/sub] point of the Earth-Moon System
The transfer is studied in the context of the classical Circular Restricted Three-Body Problem. The initial state is on a geosinchronous orbit and the terminal state is the L4 triangular Lagrangian point. The use of cont...
