WAYS OF IMPROVING LEGAL REGULATION OF PROBATION IN UKRAINE

Abstract
The article is devoted to the research of problematic issues of legal regulation of probation in Ukraine. The necessity of improving the legal mechanisms for ensuring the activity of the probation body, specifying certain aspects of the procedure for drafting a pre-trial report, and resolving the issue of the responsibility of convicts released from serving a sentence with a test that evade fulfillment of the obligations imposed on them by law and the court is substantiated. It is proposed to foresee the implementation by the body of probation of supervision over the behavior of persons conditionally released from pre-term release from serving a sentence.
