Ways of Improving Teaching Practice of Future Foreign Language Teachers

Abstract
The article is dedicated to the problem of improving teaching practice of future foreign language teachers. The author states that teaching practice is a compulsory and very important component of the educational process and proves that other scientists are of the same opinion. New and important research material is represented with the curricula analysis of institutions of higher education, the results of which are depicted on two tables. Tables contain not only figures but also percentages. The scientific methods of analysis, description and comparison have been used in order to single out all the results. As the article has it, school teachers, students and teachers of institutions of higher education were interviewed. The main results of the questionnaires and the interviews are analyzed in the article. The importance of conducting summer teaching practice in children's holiday camps was also proved referring to the research that had been conducted in a summer camp. It is also mentioned that the author’s results are similar to the results presented by the project ''New Generation School Teacher'' initiated by Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and British Council in Ukraine with the aim to improve the quality of Ukrainian teachers of English pre-service training. Special attention is given to the possible ways of improving teaching practice of future foreign language teachers in Ukraine.
