WAYS TO IMPROVE THE METHODOLOGICAL AND PRACTICAL FOUNDATIONS FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION THE PROGRAM “UKRAINIAN BOOK”

Abstract
Supporting the activities of the subjects in the information sphere of the national economy, in particular publishing requires well-thought-out organizational and financial support from the state in the context of more efficient use of limited financial resources. The results of audits have repeatedly shown inadequate efficiency of the use the state budget funds, in particular due to imperfect selection criteria for publications. Methodical and practical principles are developed, which aimed at improving the implementation of the program “Ukrainian Book”. The list of criteria for selecting publications for the program “Ukrainian Book” is justified. A scale of assessments and additional characteristics specifying the applications of the proposed criteria are proposed.
