WAYS TO MAXIMIZE MONOPOLY PROFITS IN THE ABSENCE OF INTER-INDUSTRY COMPETITION

Abstract
The article describes the main ways of maximizing monopoly profits. Analyzed the market mechanism for determining wages influenced by the presence of a monopolist-consumer in market. The change in performance factors productivity. Determined that in the absence of inter-industry competition monopoly with an added opportunity to increase revenue through the reduction of remuneration. The existence of this possibility leads to a reduction of wages over time.
