Web-Based Methodology for the Management of FMEA Projects
Journal Title: RECENT - Year 2012, Vol 13, Issue 35
Abstract
The Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) is a technique for the management of the reliability and security of systems, products and processes that helps to identify the most important problems that can lead to their failure and find the necessary solutions for the reduction of the associated risks. The purpose of this paper is to present a new methodology that uses the internet for the development and management of FMEA projects. Based on this methodology was developed a Software application that will be presented in the future in another paper.

Study on Shrinkage Development inside an Al-Si Alloy Casting by Computer Solidification Simulation
We show that the position and shrinkage volume results given by software using casting solidification simulation doesn`t always correspond with the experimental results. This can be explained due to the simulation analys...
FOR A BETTER CONTROL OF THE AVAILABILITY OF THE INDUSTRIAL EQUIPMENTS
Each one can intuitively understand that maintenance is significant because if equipment breaks down, the production can be stopped. In a system with tended flows or there are few intermediate stocks, such a stop can put...
Design of an Innovative Kitchen System for People with Physical Disabilities
Taking into consideration the special needs of people with physical disabilities, this paper presents an innovative design of an adaptive kitchen system. The components of this system are described and an experimental ca...
Considerations upon the Possibilities of Applying the Value Analysis Method in Manufacturing Rolling Contact Bearings
Applying the studies of value analysis in the framework of manufacturing simple components or sub-assemblies of complex products raises several difficulties, especially due to the necessity of observing the principle of...
Influence of Adhesive Bonded Surface Texture on Adhesive Bonding Process
Laboratory experiments deal with an influence of a grit-blasting by means of corundum grits AL2O3 of different sizes on a surface roughness of steel substrates prepared according to the standard CSN EN 1465. The experime...
