Wenancjusz Fortunat, Poezje, VIII 3 (fragmenty). Wstęp i tłumaczenie

Abstract
The paper is the translation of selected fragments of the poem contained in the eleventh book of Carmina by Venantius Fortunatus, a poet of the end of antiquity and the beginning of the Middle Ages. The work composed in the elegy recital was written on the occasion of taking over the function of the superior monastery in Poitiers by Agnes and was dedicated her. It is described as a mystical epitaphalamium. The translation is provided with an introduction and explanations. Artykuł stanowi przekład wybranych fragmentów utworu zamieszczonego w XI księdze Carmina Wenancjusza Fortunata, poety schyłku antyku i początków średniowiecza. Utwór napisany w metrum elegijnym został skomponowany z okazji objęcia funkcji przełożonej klasztoru w Poitiers przez Agnieszkę i był jej dedykowany. Określa się go jako epitalamium mistyczne. Tłumaczenie opatrzone jest wprowadzeniem i objaśnieniami.
