WHY IS CONTEMPORARY TEACHER POORLY PREPARED AND MOTIVATED TO EDUCATIONAL WORK IN SCHOOL?

Abstract
The article is about educational role of school and teacher, their failures and problems. Author stresses that so important education of the young generations for valuable life, has been underestimated for years by the “short-sighted” education policy, oriented toward officialdom, testomania and bureaucracy. Therefore the talk about teacher’s educational powerlessness, who is helpless against students’ negative behaviors and the vanishing of authority. The lecturer’s educational influence on children and teenagers is , in fact, conditioned by factors – subjective and non-subjective, which are discussed in the article. The majority of tutors focuses attention on education for exam instead of developing the basics, values and personality traits, because that is the official role. And teacher’s low educational competences are the result from: bad reforms policy, dysfunctional system of their education and difficulties encountered during the work.<br/><br/>
