Journal Title: Zarządzanie ochroną przyrody w lasach - Year 2014, Vol 0, Issue 1
Abstract
In this study we tested the influence of winter storage conditions on the vigor of Scots pine seedlings (Pinus sylvestris). The seedlings were stored in (1) cold room with regulated humidity (2) on breeding yard or (3) were heeled-in in the open. The best vigor of the seedlings, as measured by admittance, was observed for the batch stored in a cold room with regulated humidity, while seedlings which were heeled-in in the open performed the worst.
