Wpływ przeglądów technicznych na bezpieczeństwo w transporcie drogowym

Abstract
The article presents state of the periodic technical tests system. The internal and external root causes having a significant impact on the quality of the technical inspections of vehicles have been identified. The newly proposed provisions of the European Commission on the periodic roadworthiness tests are intended to standardize the principles of testing of vehicles , procedures for assessment of vehicles system and components throughout Europe, and consequently, improve the condition of the vehicles. More over the article is focused on the investigation of conception of desicion support systems for means of transport maintenance processes performance. Thus, the main decisions being taken in the area of transportation systems performance are defined.
