Abstract
The paper discusses assumptions of the National Urban Policy, which is a document defining rules to improve the capacity of cities and urban areas to create sustainable development create jobs and improve the quality of life of residents. The advantages and disadvantages of this document and suggestions for its improvement have been defined.
