Writing and psychomotor development in six-year-olds

Abstract
The process of acquiring writing in children is associated with a number of factors that favor its execution, among them is the psychomotor component, which would have a significant impact. It is for this reason that the study aims to study the relationship between psychomotor development and writing inchildren of six years of age. In marked research under a quantitative approach, field design, descriptive and correlative type, cross-sectional and nonexperimental, being its sample established in 80 students. The survey was used as a technique and the Neuromotor Evaluation Test (EVANM) and the Literacy Analysis Test (TALE) were used as an instrument. As a result, it has been established that fifty-three percent (53%) of the children studied have a consolidated level of writing. Conclusion It was possible to determine the presence of a direct and significant relationship between fine psychomotricity and initiation to writing in 6-year-old students of the second grade of basic education
