Abstract
W artykule autorzy zwracają uwagę na konieczność kompleksowego podejścia do ciągłego rozwoju wyposażenia i uzbrojenia żołnierzy, z uwzględnieniem faz: powstawania koncepcji, przygotowania i weryfikacji projektu, wdrożenia do produkcji, modernizacji systemów, aż do ich utylizacji.Utrzymanie odpowiedniej gotowości technologicznej sprzętu spoczywać powinno nie tylko na barkach żołnierzy, ale również przemysłu obronnego i naukowców, którzy często biorą udział w pracach Polskiego Potencjału Obronnego. Kompleksowe podejście do wszystkich faz życia produktu od momentu powstania koncepcji, poprzez projektowanie, eksploatację, aż po utylizację, może zaowocować podniesieniem jakości oraz efektywności ekonomicznej systemów wyposażenia i uzbrojenia żołnierzy.
