Abstract
This paper presents a concept and prototype multitool head grinding-polishing with independent pneumatic drive for smoothing large areas of metal stamping dies (variable surface curvature FFS - Free Form Surfaces). This head allows the selection of appropriate abrasive discs, the parameters and the smoothing process, as well as the appropriate formation of traces of geometric structure of the surface of the workpiece.
