Abstract

The purpose of the article «Rubric «Abroad» in the newspaper «Cinema-Week» (1927): genre-thematic range» – to find out the genre-thematic range of the rubric «Abroad», published in the newspaper «Cinema-Week» (1927). Due to the difficulties in clearly defining the genre of some information materials, which, in our opinion, is due to the genre system of journalism formation in the 1920s, the following options were proposed: journalistic text, in part has signs of a note; journalistic text, partially has signs of announcement; journalistic text, partially has signs of a review, an article with elements of review and reportage. In addition to the above, in the rubric «Abroad» there are such genres: review, essay and article. The informational materials of the above rubric cover the following topics: the specifics of foreign cinema, the features of the demonstration of soviet film production abroad, the activities of foreign cinema censorship, foreign cinema press.
