Yamshinskaya N. V. Multidisciplinary links as a factor of professional competence development of future specialists

Abstract
The article deals with the concept of interdisciplinary approach and considers its essence focusing on usefulness of multidisciplinary links’ implementation in the process of students’ learning. Special attention is given to the fact that foreign languages should not be taught apart from other disciplines especially if the objective is to train a highly-qualified specialist with excellent professional and communication skills. The impact of interdisciplinary approach on students’ motivation for foreign language learning is outlined. The importance of multidisciplinary links within a well-balanced training process of future specialists is highlighted. The students’ answers on the questionary are analysed and the conclusions on the effectiveness of appropriate methods for multidisciplinary links implementation in the process of foreign language learning are made.
